Did you know that there are around 250 different Bees in Britain which include 24 species of Bumble Bees, 225 solitary Bees and just 1 Honey Bee.
Did you also know that many are in decline; how will we survive without them … perhaps we won’t?
Fibre Artist Lydia Needle will produce 50 small, life size bee pieces in wool for this groundbreaking exhibition at The ACEarts Gallery. 50 other artists, makers, writers etc will produce one companion piece in response to the habitat, linked wildlife, ecology, flight, sound or predators of one specific bee.
